Solenergy Micronesia continues to build momentum as it breaks into the renewable energy industry in the region. Starting with internal projects for its sister companies, Solenergy Micronesia successfully completed the installation of 480 solar panels on the IT&E Harmon headquarters rooftop in May. In its first month of operation, the system produced a total of 29,636 kWh to power the telco’s administrative and network operations, resulting in savings of US$9,370 for that month. Completion of solar panels in 6 Shell stations in Guam is expected in the third quarter of this year. Meanwhile, the energy solutions provider is in the early stages of developing a project in Rota.
